External REST APIs
Overview
Overview
In headless mode, Genesis Start runs without opening a window, and you drive it with its REST API, or let an AI agent drive it over MCP. Everything you would normally do by clicking (bootstrapping, starting and stopping processes, running scripts, checking status, switching process profiles) is done with HTTP requests instead.
The Genesis HTTP Client provides a simple way of integrating external REST services with the Genesis Platform. It contains an intuitive DSL for making HTTP requests, so that you can integrate your Request Servers and Event Handlers seamlessly with external applications.
